· New York time
Ubuntu 26.10, named Stonking Stingray, is available to download with GNOME 51 and what the release report describes as the upcoming Linux 7.3 kernel series. It also ships with 100 percent Rust coreutils. Those changes put both the visible desktop and underlying command-line utilities on the release's agenda.
