YOUR STORY, YOUR CHOICE

Privacy policy

Effective October 15, 2026. Headline Chaos and You're Making Headlines are operated by ProInstincts. If you have a question about your privacy, please contact us.

Information you share with us

We collect your email address and the name and details you provide for your personal newspaper. We also keep your subscription status, chosen news topics, email delivery preferences and authorized app connections. Sponsorship bookings include your contact information, dates, topic, uploaded logo, copy and destination link. If you make a purchase, we also keep a record of your order. Please avoid including sensitive personal information.

How we use your information

We use this information to create and deliver your edition, help you sign in, recover purchases, manage subscriptions, send your selected news digests, review sponsorships and provide support. Authorized members of our team can access your email address to communicate with you about your account, orders, and the service.

We use trusted service providers to help deliver the service and process payments. We do not collect your full payment-card details or sell your personal information.

Public news and sponsor placements

Our news editions and dated archives are public and may appear in search results. Approved sponsor names, logos, headlines, descriptions and links appear publicly on booked editions and their archives for as long as the site remains online. Sponsorship contact details are used to manage the booking and are not displayed as part of the placement.

Connected apps and Read Aloud

When you approve an app connection, that app can read public news using your subscription. It cannot access your private keepsakes, billing or email preferences through this connection. We keep connection details needed to authorize access; you can revoke access in My account. The app handles information under its own privacy policy. Read Aloud uses your browser or device voices; voice processing depends on your browser and device settings.

Your personal edition is private until you share it

Your edition and purchased downloads are private by default. Publishing is your choice. If you publish an edition, anyone with its link can view and copy the preview. You can unpublish it at any time, although we cannot remove copies other people have already saved.

Your information and your choices

You can request a copy of your information, correct your details, or delete your account and saved editions. Visit your account or contact us for help. We may retain limited records when needed for purchases, legal obligations, or resolving disputes.

Manage news delivery topics and email preferences in your account. Pausing digests does not cancel billing. Cancel renewal through subscription management. Download your account data as a file, or use the separate Danger Zone to request deletion after resolving active billing and pending payments. Revoking a connection does not erase copies already held by an app; contact that app for its deletion options.

Cookies and service improvements

Free public news pages may show advertisements. Advertising partners may use cookies and device information to deliver and measure ads, subject to applicable consent choices. Where consent is required, advertising waits for the consent settings to be available. Active subscribers do not receive advertising scripts or sponsor placements while reading online. Downloaded newspaper files retain their published layouts.

We use cookies to keep you signed in and help protect the service. We remember simple display choices in your browser. We also collect limited information about how the service is used so we can improve it.

Children's privacy

This service is intended for adults. Please do not submit a child's sensitive personal information.
