Settings Gets an Answer to the Certification Question
· New York time
Ubuntu 26.10 updates Settings to show whether a computer is certified for Ubuntu. The release also includes App Center enhancements, including a unified app-details view described in the release report. Both changes concern finding useful information inside ordinary interfaces rather than chasing it through separate destinations. The alternative, opening six browser tabs to investigate the object directly in front of you, has enjoyed a remarkably long career.
