An ADHD Summit Puts Lived Experience in the Feed

Paris Hilton hosted more than 200 neurodivergent creators at her Los Angeles home on October 15 for UNSTOPPABLE, a daylong ADHD creator summit produced by her nonprofit, 11:11 Media Impact. Organizers put attendees’ combined audience reach at more than 500 million. Timed to ADHD Awareness Month, the gathering aimed to change what audiences encounter about ADHD online. That combined reach represents potential scale, with overlapping audiences and no guarantee that every follower sees every post. Even so, bringing creators together can support a wider range of voices on a subject often reduced to a few repeatable internet talking points. The feed likes simple categories. People are less conveniently packaged. That mismatch is a substantive challenge for creators discussing lived experience, especially when a platform rewards an instantly legible hook. A gathering like this can make room for connection and visibility without requiring everyone to fit one narrative. Its value need not depend solely on whether a single clip travels farthest or produces the neatest sentence for a presentation. The attention economy can offer a person an enormous publishing tool and then request that an entire experience fit before the skip button. Sometimes the subject is bigger than the slot. The platform may prefer a brisk opening, but a human life has never been especially cooperative about trimming its middle.
