Ken Jennings will again host a special YouTube edition of Jeopardy!, with creators including Michelle Khare, Mythical Josh and Smosh's Angela Giarratana. It is the second creator edition, putting online personalities inside an established quiz format. That is a sensible creative bargain. Familiar rules give audiences an immediate way in while participants supply the variation. Recognition may attract viewers, but knowing the answers still matters. For once, a creator's next move can follow a clear instruction rather than a dashboard suggesting that performance might improve with greater authenticity.
