Meta Gives Business AI a List of Things to Do

Meta has outlined common business uses for its Muse AI tools, drawing on examples the company says it has seen so far. The update moves the pitch from the expansive promise of artificial intelligence toward the more practical question of what a business might actually ask the tools to accomplish. That distinction matters for small companies and creators operating as businesses. A tool has to fit a task, not merely provide a fresh noun for the strategy document. The useful assessment is whether it improves work sufficiently to justify the attention required to use and review it. Examples can help people see possibilities, but company-selected uses are not the same thing as a universal result. A workflow that suits one operation may be awkward for another. Not every business problem is waiting patiently for a text box. The comic temptation is to give AI a chair at every meeting before deciding whether the meeting should exist. A more sensible approach begins with the work itself: what needs doing, what quality looks like and who checks the result. Otherwise the business risks acquiring an extremely enthusiastic assistant whose main accomplishment is making the phrase AI-powered appear in additional places around the office.
