The Audiobook Plan Has a Subscription Question
· New York time
YouTube’s reported audiobook expansion could connect to Premium, which costs new customers $15.99 monthly, Tubefilter reports, citing The Wall Street Journal. The reported library is planned for 2027; YouTube has not confirmed it. That existing subscription price makes packaging an important commercial question alongside the library itself. A new listening category could compete for subscribers’ time as well as their interest. The subscription cupboard may acquire books, but nobody has officially handed subscribers the new shelf key.
